Severin KA 4826 TypeSwitch Timer Filter Coffee Machine - Description

Set your morning coffee going before you’re even out of bed with the Severin KA 4826 TypeSwitch Timer coffee machine, which combines a digital timer with adjustable strength.

Key features

  • AromaSwitch – choose a stronger morning brew or a gentler afternoon coffee to suit your taste
  • Timer function – a digital clock lets you set the brewing cycle to start automatically at a chosen time
  • Fast brewing – a powerful heating element of up to 1,000 W for quick, quiet coffee
  • Quality design – stainless steel accents and a glass carafe with a fresh-water scale and ergonomic handle
  • Comfortable handling – swivel filter with a removable 1 x 4 insert, drip stop, and a water level gauge visible from both sides

Why the extra flexibility helps

The AromaSwitch means you’re not locked into one strength of coffee throughout the day – a bolder brew to start the morning, and something gentler for an afternoon cup, are both a single switch away. Paired with the digital timer, you can set everything up the night before and wake up to coffee that’s already brewing, rather than waiting around for it.

The up to 1,000 W heating element keeps brewing quick and reasonably quiet, while the glass carafe’s fresh-water scale and ergonomic handle make pouring straightforward. The swivel filter’s removable 1 x 4 insert simplifies both filling and cleaning, and the drip stop means the carafe can be lifted away mid-brew without mess.

Technical highlights

  • Power: up to 1,000 W
  • Filter: swivel filter with removable 1 x 4 insert
  • Water gauge: visible from both sides
  • Automatic shut-off after brewing

Can I set the coffee to be ready when I wake up? Yes – the digital timer lets you programme a start time in advance, so the brewing cycle begins automatically without you needing to be there.

This coffee machine is refurbished and tested for full function; it may show light cosmetic signs of previous use and/or a packaging that has been opened or damaged. It’s backed by a Min 12-month warranty, giving you plenty of time to settle into using it, and it’s More sustainable vs new.
